Partnering students & employers to transform San Diego

On August 21, Cristo Rey SD will hold its first-ever Draft Day. The high-energy event kicks off the Corporate Work Study Program in which students are “drafted” by corporate and nonprofit partners throughout San Diego for the 2020-2021 academic year. Students will work five days per month at these jobs, not only earning the majority of their tuition, but gaining valuable work experience and self-confidence. This opportunity demystifies the professional world for our students, most of whom will be the first in their family to attend college. But, we need a way to get them to their jobs, and that’s where the vans come in.

To celebrate our job partners and students, we’ve set a goal to raise $60,000 by August 21st to buy two vans. Please give now to Cristo Rey San Diego to help us provide a college-preparatory education to students who would not have this opportunity if it were not for the generous support of our donors and job sponsors.

Double your impact by being one of the first to donate. A generous supporter has committed to match the first $30,000 with a new van, making it three in total!
