Opening in August 2020, Cristo Rey San Diego High School will give students from Southeast San Diego a life changing opportunity. Open exclusively to students with limited financial means, CRSDHS will provide students a faith-based learning community that educates young people of limited economic means to become men and women of faith, purpose and service. Through a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, integrated with a relevant work-study experience, students will graduate ready to succeed in college and in life.
As part of the Cristo Rey Network of schools, all Cristo Rey students work one day each week in an entry-level corporate job to cover most of the cost of their education. Rigorous college preparatory academics and an innovative, four-year integrated work study experience result in well-rounded individuals with grit and confidence set on a path for success in college and in life. The model is working to transform students, workplaces, and communities in 37 locations around the country. San Diego is next.
By donating to Cristo Rey San Diego, you become a co-investor in the futures of our students, from high school graduation through college to a life full of possibility.
